Mountfield Playgroup

Our playgroup has received invaluable support and advice over the past years. Staff have supported children, families and our staff. They have offered help, been a source of information, are professional, friendly and easy to approach. They provide a much needed service and we hope it will be available for many years to come.

The Aim Of Playgroup Network
The aim of the association is to enhance the development and education of children under statutory school age by encouraging parents and carers to understand and provide for the needs of their children through community groups and to complement the work of local associations in order to help meet the needs of Playgroups and other child-caring groups.

The Structure Of Playgroup Network
Playgroup Network is an umbrella organisation made up of separate autonomous local associations who work to support their local early years settings.

Newcastle Branch
The Newcastle Branch of Playgroup Network has been in operation since 1987 and has worked closely with playgroups, day nurseries and other professionals across Newcastle. Playgroup Advisers and Inclusion Advisers have been at the heart of this work. However, in order for us to remain able to support you we have had to look seriously at how we can become more sustainable. The introduction of
kids CIC will mean we are better equipped to support you and enable you to share your views, problems, frustrations and achievements with knowledgeable staff.

Playgroup Network, together with
Kids CIC understands your worries, frustrations and concerns. We are here to listen to you and support you as YOU need. This will mean we can continue to support you for many years to come.
